Bufano's "Expanding Universe" monument makes for a perfect landmark.Painted and reaching skyward while waves crash below. Pure poetry in concrete. Zipped over to Fort Ross Winery. Evenings with vinyl listening. A few backgammon battles. An early dinner as the sun dips. Simplest pleasures hit deepest when you're surrounded by raw beauty.

Still hearing those waves. Great place for love.
